Rapper Tory Lanez surprisingly released a new album last night and one of the tracks clearly addresses his recent drama. Since the incident where Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot after leaving a party with Tory Lanez two months ago, the Canadian rapper has kept silent. Announcing the album on his social media, Lanez wrote, “There is a time to stay silent . And a time to speak ….. I said all I could say on this …”
On the song “Money Over Fallouts”, Lanez includes news clips regarding the story including him getting “Donkey of the Day” by the Breakfast Club for shooting his friend Meg. Lanez straight up denies that he shot her rapping on the track, “Girl, You had the nerve to write that statement on that affidavit knowin’ I ain’t do it…”
Lanez adds that he’d “never put you in any danger” adding people are “trying frame me for a shooting.” He also insinuates that someone from Megan Thee Stallion’s team is trying to pay him off. Listen to the song below.
